After Donald Trump’s inauguration drew far fewer attendees than Barack Obama’s, the new President reportedly stewed over the numbers all day Saturday.
Frustrated by the comparison, Trump sent his press secretary, Sean Spicer, to scold the media for their “mean” coverage.
As Trump struggled with the backlash, an unlikely figure stepped in with some advice—Johnny Manziel. The former NFL quarterback,
recently back on his grind, took to Twitter to offer Trump a few words of wisdom on dealing with the haters.
I would normally embed the tweet, but soon after it was published, Manziel de-activated his account altogether, presumably because the haters got the best of him.
